Typeface

I decided to use this calligraphy font.
The name is 'a spring day.'

Button design

I tried to unite all button designs to one style with the texture and the font. Those are samples I remade.

Postcard design

This postcard is a promotional gift for people who buy the board game. I'm thinking to make about 10 postcards with Korean images and the postcards are mini sizes. People can see various looks of Korea and postcards can be used for short letters from Korean trip.

Those are samples i made.

This is my button design. All images feature Korea.

I'm still thinking fonts because I haven't decided it yet.

As I mentioned above, I haven't decided typeface.

But I'm thinking to go with this. This is the font from a Korean calligrapher of the above calligraphic designs.

calligraphic feeling -> Blush fonts.

I found blush fonts... It's hard to decide. I like 5th and 3rd one from below personally.
The 2nd one from below looks pretty cute, too.

Schedule.

Week 4
Oct. 22nd - Have research logos using characteristic of country and decide a typeface.

Week 5
Oct. 27th - 5% of final grade. Illustrations of Korean characteristic for buttons.
Oct. 29th - Have Korean images for postcards and show few sample.

Week 6
Nov. 3rd - The revision of buttons and have postcards ready.
Nov. 5th - Have logo design and money for board game.

Week 7
Nov. 10th - 10% of final grade. Have 4 characters and pocket size Korean map design.
Nov. 12th - Have a game board design sketch.

Week 8
Nov. 17th - Have a digital game board design.
Nov. 19th - Have game cards & package design.

Week 9
Nov. 24th - Email my low-res. pdf by noon to Lis. Start organizing for final project and presentation. Have all prints and assembled game.

Week 10
Dec. 1st - Have a formal portfolio.
Dec. 3rd - Work on photographing work.

Week 11
Dec. 8th - Final due.
